Namitha born as Namitha Mukesh Vankawala at May 10, 1981 in Gujarat, India. Namitha is only one daugher of her parents. In 1998, She was won Miss Surat pageant. She appeared in lot of commericials such as Arun Ice Cream, Manikchand Gutka, Nyle Shampoo, Himami Cream and Kiscol TMT.
Namitha made her acting debut in director Sreenu Vitla's Telugu movie sontham. She first appeared in Tamil movie Aai, opposite Tamil leading actor Sarath Kumar. But, Tamil film "Engal Anna" her second committed and first released Tamil movie.
