Actress Vimala Raman born January 23, 1980 (Age:33) in Sydney, Australia to a Tamil family. Her father Pattabhi Raman is Kannada and her mother Santha Raman is Tamil She has a elter brother, who settled in USA. She was completed her education in Sydney. Since five age, She practicing Bharathanatyam (Tamil Culture Dance).
Vimala Raman made her acting debut in Tamil movie Poi, opposite Udhay Kiran, directed by Balachandar in 2006. This film not doing well in box office.
Next Tamil film of Vimala Raman was Raman thediya seethai, which movie had a above average hit. But, success of this film not help her to start her career in Tamil Cinema field.
Since 2008, She not a have chance to act in Tamil. But, She did lot of Malayalam, Telugu movies and one Hindi movie.
